Hello Barracudas! It was great getting to compete again after a brief hiatus from meets. Everyone did a great job and I see improvement at all levels. We are going to keep working hard and get better and better. Our next meet is February 25th.
My husband is out of the country and he is the one who helps me track standard times and team records so I may miss a couple. But, what I know for sure is:
•Carson Verlander broke the oldest record of all our team records Saturday, the boys 8&under 25 freestyle. Congratulations, Carson! Not only did he break that record, he broke records in his other two individual events as well! 3 races, 3 records. The other two were the 25fly and 100IM records. Way to go, Carson!
•Blake Nelson broke the boys 13-14 50 breaststroke record!
•Standard times were updated for the 2017-2020 seasons, but if they hadn’t just been updated, Sam Peters would have achieved two new A times in his last meet in the 9-10 age group. Congratulations, Sam!
The meet results are attached.
We DO have practice today.
See you at the pool!
